Hologram Stickers

Holographic stickers are printed on vinyl with a rainbow, light-catching finish. The holographic effect shifts as the sticker moves, making them harder to ignore than standard vinyl. We print your design on top, laminate for protection, and cut to shape. Tech companies use them as swag because they stand out in a pile of regular stickers. Bands and artists use them for merch because they look premium without costing much more. Anyone who wants their stickers to get noticed rather than lost in a drawer.

How the holographic effect works

The vinyl itself has the holographic finish. We print your artwork on top of it. Where there is no ink, the rainbow effect shows through. Where there is ink, the print sits on the holographic background.

If you want certain areas to block the effect completely, we can print a layer of white underneath. This gives you solid colours without the rainbow showing through. You can mix both approaches in the same design if you want some areas holographic and others solid.

What holographic stickers work well for

Swag and giveaways. Conference tables are covered in stickers. Holographic ones get picked up first. Tech companies order them for events, welcome packs, and office giveaways because they look more interesting than standard vinyl.

Band and artist merch. Musicians, illustrators, and creators sell them alongside other merchandise. The holographic finish makes them feel like a premium product without a premium price.

Packaging inserts. Drop one in with an order and it gets stuck somewhere visible. The rainbow effect means it catches the eye more than a plain sticker would.

Material and durability

Printed on holographic vinyl and finished with a gloss laminate. The laminate protects against scratches and UV fading, and keeps the holographic effect looking sharp.

Artwork

Send a print-ready PDF with your cut path on a separate layer as a spot colour called CutContour. If you want areas blocked out with white, set the white as a Spot Colour and overprint on the image. If all this means nothing, give us a call and we can talk through it. We can advise on how your design will look on holographic vinyl before printing.

Sizes and quantities

Same as our die cut stickers. Minimum size around 40mm x 40mm, and we can go larger depending on the design. 50 to 100 is the sensible minimum order. We can do fewer, but the per-sticker price will not drop much below 50.

Turnaround

2-3 working days from approved artwork. For large orders, we can get the first batch to you while the rest is finishing.

If holographic is not quite right

If you want standard vinyl without the rainbow effect, die cut stickers are the same process on plain white vinyl. If you want simple shapes rather than custom outlines, circle or square stickers are faster and cheaper. Not sure? Tell us what you are trying to do.
