Custom Bumper Stickers

Bumper stickers for elections, referendums, sports finals, club events, and anything else worth showing support for. Printed on removable vinyl so they peel off cleanly when the campaign is over or the season ends. No residue, no scraping, no damage to the paintwork.

We print and laminate everything in-house in Kilcoole, County Wicklow. Turnaround is 2-3 days. You can collect from us or we ship nationwide with DPD.

Removable Vinyl

We use a different vinyl for bumper stickers than we do for permanent stickers. This one is rated for up to 6 months on a surface. When you peel it off, the adhesive comes off with the sticker. The car looks like nothing was ever there.

If you want to leave it on longer than 6 months, that is fine. It will stay put. But the removable adhesive is the point. Election posters come down after the vote. Championship stickers come off after the final. Event promotions end when the event does. You should not have to fight with a scraper or leave gummy residue behind.

One thing to note: if the car paint is already damaged, rusting, or flaking, do not apply. When you remove the sticker, it may lift loose paint with it. On sound paintwork, it peels off clean.

Weatherproof and Laminated

Every bumper sticker gets a gloss laminate. This does a few things. Rain runs straight off instead of sitting on the surface. The print is protected from UV fading. And the sticker resists scratches from general wear.

Irish weather is not kind to outdoor print. The laminate means your sticker still looks good after a few months of wind, rain, and whatever else gets thrown at it.

Rounded Corners

We round the corners on all bumper stickers by default. Sharp corners are the first thing to lift when the weather gets at them. A small radius, about 2mm, keeps the edges down and the sticker looking neat for longer.

If you specifically need square corners we can do that, but we would recommend against it for anything going on a vehicle.

Sizes

Our standard bumper sticker sizes:

•200mm x 95mm

•300mm x 75mm

•400mm x 100mm

We can also do custom sizes and shapes. If you need something specific, just ask.

What People Use Them For

Elections and referendums. Show support for a candidate, party, or campaign. The removable vinyl is ideal here because the sticker needs to come off after polling day.

GAA and sports teams. County colours before a big final. Club crests for the championship run. Support for the local team that comes off at the end of the season if you want it to.

Events and promotions. Festival promotion, charity events, awareness campaigns. Anything with a defined end date where you want visibility now but a clean car later.

Clubs and groups. Inside jokes, club logos, group affiliations. Car clubs, cycling clubs, running clubs, anything with members who want to show they belong.

Quantities

We can print as few as 10, but bumper stickers make more sense at 50 or 100. The setup is the same whether we print 10 or 100, so the price per sticker drops quickly as quantities go up.

For election campaigns or club orders, most people go for 100-500. Get a quote for the quantity you need.

Artwork Tips

Bumper stickers are not flyers. People see them from a distance, often while moving. Keep that in mind when you design.

•Big text. If someone cannot read it from a few metres away, it is too small.

•Simple message. A name, a slogan, a logo. No essays.

•High contrast. Dark text on light background or light text on dark background. Avoid subtle colour combinations.

•Good quality artwork. 300dpi minimum, CMYK colour mode, 3mm bleed.

We handle the cut lines. Just send us your artwork at the right size with bleed and we will set up the rest.

Application

Clean the surface first. If you stick a sticker to a dirty car, the sticker sticks to the dirt, not the car. It will not last and it will not come off cleanly.

The surface should be dry and free of wax or polish residue. A wipe with a damp cloth and let it dry is usually enough. For best results, we recommend testing in a small area first, especially on older vehicles.

Why Ours

Cheaper bumper stickers exist. Some of them use adhesives that bond permanently and need a scraper and solvent to remove. Some skip the laminate, so they fade in the sun and scratch easily. Some ship from abroad and take weeks to arrive.
