A3 & A4 Poster Printing

A3 and A4 are the smaller end of poster printing, but that doesn't mean they're less useful. These are the sizes you see on notice boards, in countertop frames, on community boards in shops, and in clip frames on office walls. When you need something more polished than a home printer can manage, but you're not covering a whole wall, this is where you're looking.

We print A3 (297 x 420mm) and A4 (210 x 297mm) posters on the same 200gsm matt paper as our larger formats. It's a step up from standard office paper: heavier, better colour reproduction, and it sits flat in a frame without curling. If you've ever printed an A3 on an office machine and been disappointed by the washed-out colours or flimsy feel, this is the fix.

What people use these for

Notice boards are the main one. Community centres, office reception areas, school corridors, shop windows. Anywhere there's a board with pins or a clip frame, A3 and A4 posters turn up. They're also used for counter displays and table signage, small menus, and point of sale material where you want something sturdier than a printed sheet of paper.

We print these in small batches, typically 10 to 100 at a time. If you need thousands of A4 sheets for a leaflet drop or letterbox campaign, that's a different product with different pricing. Have a look at our flyer and leaflet printing page instead.

Same day A3 & A4 poster turnaround

Same day collection is available if your artwork is with us by 10:30am. Files need to be print-ready: correct dimensions, 150dpi minimum, no edits required. If something needs fixing we'll let you know, but it may push the job to the next day. For larger orders, give us a call first so we can check the schedule.

A3 vs A4: which to choose?

A3 is twice the size of A4. If it's going on a notice board where it needs to compete with other posters, A3 gives you more presence. If it's going in a small frame, on a counter, or somewhere space is tight, A4 is usually enough. Both fit standard off-the-shelf frames, so availability isn't an issue either way.
